CAN I REQUEST AN EXTENSION?

All applications must be completed by the Jan.

WHY DO I NEED TO SUBMIT A VIDEO?
Cupid’s Cup takes place in front of an audience
of 1,000 people. This video allows us to gauge
how confident you are in pitching your business
idea and gives you an opportunity to show your
personality. Kevin Plank is looking for finalists
with passion, hustle and drive. The video will
help you sell that.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE TRAVEL FOR
VALIDATION DAY?
Under Armour will cover the travel and lodging
costs for one applicant from each semifinalist
company. This must be the same person who
completes the application, appears in the
application video and, if chosen, will compete
in the final competition.
WHEN WILL I FIND OUT IF I HAVE
ADVANCED TO THE SEMIFINAL ROUND
(VALIDATION DAY )?
This process may take a few weeks. Our
quarterfinal judges carefully review every
application to make sure all companies are

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MAKE IT TO THE
FINAL COMPETITION?
WHO WILL JUDGE THE FINAL COMPETITION?
Finalists will be selected and announced on
Validation Day. From there, finalists will be
provided with coaching sessions leading up to
the final competition to ensure they are prepared.
More information will be distributed to the
finalists once they are selected.
The judges for the final competition will be
announced closer to the event date. Kevin Plank,
who will serve as lead judge, is always committed
to assembling a group of industry-leading
entrepreneurs to serve as judges. Previous members
