1:1 Curator Sessions
A call out was sent to all artists and makers in Powy to apply for a free two hour 1:1
session to discuss and gain feedback on individual practice with Curator in
Residence Laura Hamilton.
Sessions were available on 9, 12, 13, 14 and 20 October 2015.
Applications and a brief statement about current practice along with a CV were
sent to [email protected]
The deadline was 1st October 2015.
Laura Hamilton is a Scotland based Independent Curator of contemporary Art and
Craft. Her Current Projects include: curatorship of touring exhibitions of sculpture
by Tim Stead, Naked Craft: Canadian & Scottish craftspeople (in collaboration with
Edinburgh College of Art & Burlington Art Centre, Ontario), We are all
Basketmakers (for the Scottish Basketmakers’ Circle), Outsider Craft (in
collaboration with Craftspace), Touring Exhibitions consultancy, Craft Scotland.
