GMIT College of Tourism & Arts Careers Fair 2017 Wednesday, March 08th, 1.30pm – 4.00pm GMIT College of Tourism & Arts is holding its annual Careers Fair on Wednesday, March 08th in the Galway Road Campus, and we would like to invite your company to participate. The Careers Fair will allow you to engage with a variety of learners who may be suited to your business. Final year students from across hotel, tourism, culinary, event, retail and business awards will attend as will those living in the West of Ireland who may be seeking new employment opportunities. In addition we will be inviting students from other Institutes of Technology who are studying similar programmes. The Careers Fair will also offer you an opportunity to meet with current students in the College of Tourism & Arts who may be looking for work placement / trainee positions this summer. This is an invaluable opportunity should your business need or rely on these workers for the summer season. Experience has proven that those who attend the event are more likely to secure workers for the summer season than those who do not attend. The event will also be open to the public. Please note: Opening Times: Set-up is from 12.00pm – 1.30pm. The event will run from 1.30pm – 4.00pm to give you an opportunity to meet the maximum number of candidates (there are limited classes/lectures on Wednesday afternoons). Refreshments: Tea/coffee and sandwiches will be served at 12.30pm in the New Reception Foyer. Please find enclosed a Booking Form which we would ask you to complete and return to us by Wednesday March the 01st 2017. It is worth noting the last two years was fully booked well in advance of the closing date and we had to wait list many businesses. We would ask you to register your interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. There is no cost to participate, but places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis, therefore we encourage you to reply as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact the Links Office at: [email protected] or on 091 742565 or 091 742427, where the Links Office team will be delighted to assist you. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to seeing you on March 08th.
