Throughout the ages, the rivalry between tradition and modernity
has always been prevalent.
In the Malaysian context, where her inhabitants are diverse and of
various origins, memories are important as to preserve the unique
heritage of each different ethnic.
Therefore, Malaysian Cultural Night 2013 (MCN ’13) themed
“Treasuring the Forgotten” is an attempt to reconnect the
forgotten memories that defined Malaysians, to Malaysians
themselves so that these important memories will not be buried,
forgotten.
The essence of this performance will linger in the minds of
everyone, whether you are Malaysian or otherwise, memories of
the past, the forgotten will be treasured henceforth. An event that
will rekindle the font memoirs of your childhood and allow you
relive those times.
