1 - IDEAS PAGE
Before you start any design project it is a really good idea to look around you and see
what other people have already created.
You need to do some research (research just really means finding out things and
gathering information). So you are going to go and get some ideas and understand what
makes a good computer game.
1.
2.
3.
Look at games in the following places
1. The scratch website www.scratch.mit.edu
2. The examples folder within our tutorials folder
3. Look at online games (use google search to find some)
Now that you have done some searching you need to answer the questions on the
following slide
Be as detailed as possible and think for a while about it before you answer
you can add more slides
whenever and wherever
you need to!

4 – BUILDING GAME
Things to remember
While you are building your game you must keep all your work in a folder called
control systems. This folder must be kept within your personal ICT folder.
Inside your control systems folder you must make 4 folders
1. Scratch files
2. Images
3. Sounds
4. Documents
You must keep all your work organized and it’s a really good idea to back it up
onto your own USB every so often, just incase!
If you loose work then you may be asked to make it again and this will slow you
down and mean that you might get behind within this project.
4 – GRADING
