By the end of the course, students are able to:
1. Understand the basic industrial / organization psychology theory on the
organizational personnel
2. Apply methods and principals of the industrial / organization psychology
in the organizations / working environment
3. Choose and decide which performance evaluation techniques that are
suitable with the industrial / organization environment
4. Able to identify behavioural aspects that lead to the problems at the
workplace and able to prevent / control negative behaviour
5. Define factors that lead to the accidents in the workplace and able to
suggest / plan the preventions for achieve the work safety climate
SINOPSIS MATA
PELAJARAN
This course introduces students about the application of basic principal and
knowledge in industrial / organization psychology at the work environment.
The topics cover in an industrial / organization psychology subject including
Introduction to Industrial / Organization Psychology; Job Analysis;
Recruitment; Hiring Interview; Evaluating Employee Performance; Training
and Development; Positive Aspects of Work; Negative Employee Attitudes
and Behaviours Influence; Power and Politics; and Occupational Health
Psychology.
