Dear Team Captains, Thank you for all of your hard work you have done so far preparing for the 2015 Hemophilia Walk! This is one of our largest events of the year and the funds raised benefit future BDAI programming, Camp Warren Jyrch, financial assistance programs, and more. We really could not do this without your support, so thank you. The Walk is quickly approaching, so in this packet you will find some useful information for the day of the Walk. Please share this information with all of your team members to ensure that they are prepared as well. Electronic copies of this information will be available on our website at www.bdai.org/walk and your team members can access them there. Included you will find: A schedule for the day of the Walk A map of where to go for the Walk – For those of you who attended last year, it is in the same location. Parking options – There is some street parking available, but these options are to help you if needed. Collection Envelope – We ask that all donations be recorded on the website prior to the event if possible, but last minute donations or cash donations can be brought to the Walk in this envelope. Please be sure to fill out the information on the back of the envelope. A Walk brochure – It is never too late to still invite others to join your team or donate! This brochure offers useful information about the event. Incentive prize information – Encourage team member to keep up the great work and earn these prizes! Make sure they are collecting donations to their personal fundraising pages to be eligible. One thing we love about the Walk is that it is such a family friendly event. This is the event where our community members are encouraged to bring their friends and families out to raise awareness about bleeding disorders and support a great cause. Think of the Walk as a celebration for all of the hard work and effort you have put into fundraising and gaining support. We hope you are as excited as we are and we can’t wait to see you in Chicago on Saturday, September 12th! Please use these final days to continue fundraising and striving to reach your team goal! Also, if you have team members who are not registered yet, please help them to do so as soon as possible. Please keep in mind, all those who will be attending on the day of the Walk must be registered! Registering on the website prior to the Walk will make the registration process much quicker for you and your team members on the day of the Walk.
