Ampt Home Run Diode

Ampt Home Run Diode
Ampt Home Run Diode
Per string home run diode connected in series
with Ampt DC/DC power converters
• Prevent reverse flow of current into string
• Isolate dropped strings and faults
• Maximize system uptime
• Mitigate hazards during string repair
The Ampt HRD is a blocking diode
that is placed in series on the home
run wire(s) of a string of PV
modules being optimized by Ampt
converters. The diode prevents
reverse current flow into the lowest
voltage string.
Features:
• Quick connect
• Connected in series with Ampt converters
• High efficiency, compact package
• Rugged design and high reliability
