Cleaning Equipment
You MUST use one of these tools to clean
any of the lenses!
Never use paper towels, tissues, Kimwipes, sleeves, etc.
Lens Pens
 Warning!
 Never touch any of the
brush tips with your
hands.

The oils from your hands
will contaminate the
brush, and subsequently
the oil will get on the
lenses.
Large Lens Pens
Brush = brushing away dust and fibers
off of the lens
•Use gentle, circular motions
•Do not touch the brush with your
hands
Micro fiber tip (w/ powdered
carbon) = removes oils/fingerprints
from the lens
•Small, circular motions
•If you touch this, it will not transfer
oils to the lens (but you still
shouldn’t touch it)
Using the Lens Pens
Gentle, circular
brushing motions with
the brush at an angle
against the lens
Gentle, circular motions
perpendicular to the lens
with the microfiber tip
“Rocket Ship”
 Squeezing the “rocket ship” acts as a small, infinite can of computer
duster. Use as needed, and be sure to never touch the tip to the
lens.
Small Lens Pen
Use like the large lens
pens. Simple!
