A fence made with sissal twin and old cloth soaked in chilli and old engine oil can help
keep the elephants out of crop fields

Be sure to use protective gloves
when working with chilli

Soak old cloth in a mix of old
engine oil and dry chilli powder

Attach soaked cloths to the twine
every 3m
Note:
You will need to re-soak the cloth
every two weeks for the fence to
remain effective
