Award-winning Horticolous teams with The Posh Shed Company
April 2017 – Bespoke shed makers, The Posh Shed Company, prides itself on the unique? designs of
its sheds, making them a treasured and stylish feature in any garden.
The Posh Shed Company has teamed up with Horticolous Landscape and Garden Design, RHS
Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winners, to support the Country Living Garden at the Spring Fair
which is taking place at Alexandra Palace on 27th to 30th April.
The Garden sits among the Good Life area of the show and Horticolous are creating the Good Life
Allotment, which will include the Anderson shed from the Posh Shed Company’s brand new, awardwinning Tin Hat range. The Tin Hat range is a throwback to war-time Britain when practicality
usurped all else, and is designed to appeal to those seeking a traditional shed - solid, yet understated
in appearance and built to a standard which will guarantee years of practical service.
The garden will also feature The Posh Shed Company’s decorative planters as well as the Allotment
shed, a lower shed complete with a fully plantable roof to allow gardeners to grow fruit and
vegetables without compromising on storage space. Wildlife has not been forgotten either, with
Posh Bird and Bat Boxes also finding a home in the show garden. The sheds will be featured in
Horticolous’ garden advice clinic sessions that will take place on the Thursday and Friday of the
Spring Fair.

The garden will be built so that visitors can envisage the couple who work the allotment; their
character and charm will be composed within the design, as well as the community spirit that
allotment life brings. We hope it will tell a story as well as encouraging the visitors to have a go at
