• From Canada
• BSc in Computer Science 1982
• Partner in microcomputer start-up company 1982-84
• MSc in Computer Science 1985
• PhD in Computer Science (theoretical, ~mathematical analysis) 1989
• CS Professor at U. Waterloo 1989-91
• Taught at USTC 1991-93, 1995/96, 1997-2001, 2006-10, 2011-15, 2015bpresent.
• Also have 2 years studying in Changchun, and 3 years teaching in Lhasa
• At USTC, my teaching focuses on presentation skills
