May Message From Move Yourself Dance
Over the last few weeks it has been go, go, go for our dancers, studio
owners and instructors. Our studio hosted a very successful Picture Day in
March, followed by an extremely busy festival season where our dancers
In This Issue:
participated in FOUR Festivals achieving outstanding results in each one.
Dancers attended the Danceworks Festival in Red Deer, the Catch A Rising
Showcase DVD Order Info
Star Festival in Drumheller, the Central Alberta Dance Festival in Red Deer
and the Evergreen Festival in Sherwood Park. We are so proud of how
well our students did at each festival! They worked hard, had great
attitudes and went above and beyond during each performance.
Our next event is our EXCITING Year - End Showcase which will be held at
the Olds TransCanada Fine Arts Centre (South of the Olds College) and
we are so excited about this years performances! Thank you to each of
our dancers for an amazing year! We wish all our our dancers & families
a fantastic Summer! Break.

shooting dance recitals. Please Order Your Year-End Showcase DVD

During these 3 brief days, skills are introduced in their most basic form, which helps build a basic foundation helpful in future
dance study if desired. Concentration is on developmental skills needed to execute primary dance steps. While this class is
gently structured for the younger students, it focuses mainly on building gross and fine motor skills, coordination, while
encouraging creativeness and imagination. Maintaining a structure of Basic Ballet as the foundation. Children must be 3
yrs. old by the start of the class.
