Issues
 Sharp decline in coverage of children in primary (from 25 lakh
in 2011-12 to 21 lakh in 2012-13 and to 19 lakh in 2013-14).
 Low coverage of working days (149 days covered against
approval of 166).
 No presence of senior officials in National/Regional workshop
 Health check-up is not done for 50% of the enrolled children.
 Data entry is not completed for cooking cost and food grain
utilization.
 Funds towards use of LPG cylinders not utilized.

Release of funds in the beginning of the financial year.
e-transfer of funds .
State Govt. decided to assign 100% MDM work to SHGs in rural areas
State contribution in cooking cost (Rs. 0.58 more in primary) and
honorarium to CCH(Rs. 200 per cook) is more than minimum
mandatory state share.
 External evaluation of the implementation of scheme- “Data Mation”.
 21 points instruction including important telephone and mobile number
have been written on the wall of the school at a visible place for contact
in case of any untoward incident.
 Preparation of 30 minute documentary film for training of cook-cumhelpers.




