The end of the year is in sight and we are working to keep students actively engaged until the end. Students will
be asked to demonstrate a mastery of the grade level concepts through the administration of end of year
assessments. Please encourage your children to persevere in order to have a strong finish to the 2016-2017
school year. We can work together to make the end of the year rewarding for all.
There are two more opportunities to help raise funds for SMS this year. Present the flyer for the Cove on
Wednesday, May 24 from 11AM to 9PM and a portion of your food purchases will be donated to the school.
Additionally, on Saturday June 24 there will be an end of year Foxwoods trip. The bus will depart immediately
following the 4:00 Mass and will return to the school at 1:30 AM. Space is limited. Please call 508-672-6713
for more information.
Please look into any outstanding financial obligations as the end of the school year approaches. It is necessary
for us to close the books on this year’s budget before the new fiscal year begins on July 1. All payments
(tuition, daycare, lunch, fundraising, service) can be submitted to Mrs. Ouellette in the office.
Tuition payments for next year must be made through FACTS. This is a tuition management system that SMS
has used in the past and one that is used and trusted throughout the Fall River Diocese. I have used it, myself, to
pay tuition for my four children and have had no issues. It is imperative that families register for this now as we
need to set up the system for the coming year. Registering is a separate process from the FACE Application and
requires you to enter your information for monthly payments. Follow the link on the front page of the website to
sign up for FACTS for next year. Registration for next year is now overdue. Please return the registration form
this week to secure your child’s spot. If there are any questions about the process or signing up for FACTS
tuition management, please call the office. Log into https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3GHR0 to register on
FACTS.
