Junior Round Robin
RULES
All matches must be played by
Sunday 27th November
1. The Round Robin will be played over 7 weeks.
2. Each individual has a responsibility to arrange their
own matches. (It is advisable to book courts in advance.
If you need a pin number to do this, please let John
Griffin know). Tennis balls are not supplied.
3. If a player is repeatedly unavailable for play during
this 7 week period, then their opponent can claim the
full nine points and this will not exclude them from
claiming the 3 bonus points awarded to a junior when
they complete all their matches.
4. Five matches should be played by each junior within
Groups 1,4 &5 and four matches in Groups 2 and 3.
5. Each match will be the best of 3 sets. The first 2 sets
will start at 2-2. Normal tiebreak will be at 6-6. Third
set is a Championship tiebreak - first to 10 by two
clear points.
6. Record your score on the notice-board after each
match. (Make sure this is done, or your points total will
be lower than you might expect!).
7. Three bonus points will be awarded to individuals who
have completed all their matches by Sunday 27
November.
8. Matthew, Andy, Kaelan, James and Patrick to play
with the green ball for all their matches- Group 3.
