Once upon a time...
I was called to the ministry in 1967
at the age of 13. I had a vision that
my voice was being heard around
the entire world. From ages 18 to
25, I was backslidden. Yet in 1979,
I was invited on a Catholic
Charismatic Retreat and that week I
was instantly delivered from drugs
and alcohol, set free and have
been full-time in ministry ever
since. Because I thought
preachers were weak, pitiful people
who did not know how to do
anything else in the world, I started
in ministry as a poet.
It was my desire to conquer the world
with poetry and give GOD a part of it
so HE would leave me alone. I did
not want to identify with preachers
based on what I saw. I did not
understand Psalms 24:1 which
reminds us that the world already
belongs to HIM. Not only did the
world belong to HIM but I did too!
When HE spoke to me to reach the
inner city of Baton Rouge for JESUS,
there was nowhere to go to for
training. In those days the
understanding of inner city local
church and 24 hour outreach
ministry had not been defined.
Therefore, I was led by the HOLY
SPIRIT to a little prayer house where
GOD trained me HIMSELF.
From that 8 x 10 shack, I became a pioneer in soul winning, economics, the
arts and politics. The testimony of JESUS CHRIST for many years was
magnified. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY, HONOR & PRAISE!!! Now, my
vision is to uplift the arts to take inner city ministry to a whole new level and
train an army of young people around the world to take their cities for
JESUS!
Let's start with learning the 10 Principles of Grace.
God is the only
one to whom I

I shall
rebuild or
replace that
which has been
torn down or
taken away.

speak the
truth in
love that
makes one
free.
I shall always
praise God for
being good to
the just and
unjust.
At a time when I was a natural success on the outside but felt so empty and lost in my spirit inside,
GOD sent me back to where my ministry started- the little 8x10 building at 700 Scenic Highway, where
I stayed locked away in prayer for 7 ½ months.
These 10 principles of Grace were given to me there. After crying out to GOD for 22 hours a day, on
the 40th day week, GOD’S presence overwhelmed me. He showed me how the whole world, and most
of the Christian church, is in bondage and controlled by a spirit of oppression. HE wants HIS people to
understand the depth and wonder of HIS grace…that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us!
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (KJV). GOD did not send HIS SON into the
world to condemn us, but to seek and save those that are lost. He told me, “My son, the people are so
full of the ‘thou shall nots’. The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by my SON JESUS
CHRIST.” To capture that moment of being in GOD’S presence, I picked up my pen and the Grace
Agreement flowed through me to share with you.
I chose the character, Pen, to illustrate this message of grace because the spirit of grace triggers our
imagination that all things are possible. His name stands for Prayer Empowers Now! He lives in our
imagination and knows that grace is the imagination of GOD and HIS goodness for you. Philippians
2:5 says “Let this mind be in you that was also in CHRIST JESUS.” GOD has already said to us to let HIS
will be done on earth as it has already been done in Heaven. To practice the Grace Agreement will show
forth the manifestation of GOD’S kingdom on this earth.
When true sovereign grace shows up, and a word that comes directly from GOD, it goes beyond the
natural faith of men. There is a blessing for you in just reading it because GOD will watch over what HE
has given to perform it and grace frees you from condemnation. YOU ARE WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE
AND YOU CAN DO WHAT GOD SAYS YOU CAN DO! Our prayer is that as you study the Grace Agreement
you will begin to see the 10 Principles operate in your daily life…everyday for eternity!
