What will I do on the team?
Train with Olympic-style precision air rifles
Compete against other high schools in Illinois
Represent Normal West as an individual student and as a team
Compete in matches at home range and travel to away-matches within the state
Compete in Illinois High School State Championship Match
What will I learn?
How to safely and correctly shoot an Olympic-style air rifle
Checking NPA; learning your balance box
Patience and technique of shooting an air rifle

What days will practices and/or meetings be?
Practices will be on
Monday nights: 4:30 to ~ 6:30 or
Wednesday nights: 4:30 to ~ 6:30/6:30 to ~ 7:30 or
Thursday nights at 4:30 to ~ 6:30/6:30 to ~ 7:30
Arrive by 4-4:15 for 4:30 practice and arrive at 6:00-6:15 for 6:30 practice
Meetings will be posted on the “What’s Up Wildcats?” boards and a group message
will be sent out
Practices will start at the beginning of the school year and continue through the end

Parents, and coaches meeting to outline training and competitions for the 2016-2017 season. Discussion of training schedule and
team structure for year.
Wed, September 7th, 4:30 to ~6:30/6:30 to ~7:30: First Night of Practice
1st day of training for all shooters
