Don’t purchase lottery tickets as gifts for kids.
The International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High Risk Behaviors at McGill University
and the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) are inviting lotteries to join us in our annual
Holiday Campaign, in which we encourage parents and loved ones not to purchase lottery tickets
as gifts for youth under the legal gambling age. Participating lotteries are listed in our publicity and
are encouraged to put out a press release of their own to help spread this important message. We
hope to continue to add participants as the holiday season draws near.
