Before transplantation, the donor and the
acceptor must compare their HLA type
The traditional biological HLA typing is
time-consuming and expensive
The method we use is much faster and
cheaper
We want to find a small subset of the
given SNPs called tag SNPs, which is able
to capture the HLA genes
