GALVESTON COUNTY YOUTH SOCCER
GCYS is a growing provider of youth soccer education located in Galveston County TX. GCYS has
recreational and competitive soccer teams for both boys and girls aged from U8 through to U18. Our goal
is to develop players to their full potential within a positive learning environment.
We are looking for a Head coaches to add to our existing coaching staff.
The Head coach would be responsible for coaching (at least) one (1) team. Responsibilities to include;
session planning, conducting 2-3 weekly training sessions (depending on age group), head coaching all
weekly recreational and competitive games, be available to provide regular contact with our members and
director of coaching.
Monthly stipends are available for trainers at the competitive level based upon qualification.
Candidate must:





Be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
Possess or be working towards professional coaching qualifications for the age and level of play
Pass back ground check and obtain kid safe card
Have authorization to work in the United States.
Hold a driver’s license and be over 18 years of age at time of application.
Start date would be February 1st, 2016 on an annual contract.
