SPRING MINI-KICKERS
For Boys and Girls ages 3 to 5
(Birthdays from 8/1/06- 12/31/08)
• These developmentally based, age specific clinics are a great introduction to the world of soccer for
the youngest of players. The focus will be on ball control, teamwork and other fundamental skills.
• The clinics will be run by professional British Challenger Sports coaches, who share their dynamic
and innovative approach to soccer with younger children.

(Note: Groups may be combined, depending on enrollment)
Where: Chianese Field
Fee: $60; a copy of your child's birth certificate is required, if they have not participated in a BYSA program before.
Equipment Needed: Shin Guards, Water Bottle, Size 3 Soccer Ball
BARRINGTON SOCCER CLUB YOUTH ACADEMY
For Boys and Girls ages 6 to 8

Soccer is a team game that places great demands on each player’s skills. Developing those individual skills
in young players is the primary goal of the academy. This is a critical age to focus on developing good
habits and proper technique. Only when basic ball skills are mastered and comfort with the ball under
pressure is achieved will a player realize his/her potential. The academy’s approach is to move players successfully along a player development continuum using structured lesson plans and small-sided games in a
fun, but focused, environment.
