DURATION: Part-Time Summer Internship, 105 Hours
LOCATION: Intern will work out of the Tri-County EMC office in Gray, GA.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To plan and create video projects for Tri-County EMC. Subject matter of videos will include
energy tips, household energy efficiency repairs, employee spotlights, the cooperatives
scholarship, leadership and community programs and other member programs.
MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Required:
High School Graduate/Equivalent.
Significant experience in video creation and desktop editing.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Good oral communication skills.
Good decision making skills.
Valid Georgia driver's license.
Must have proficient computer skills
Preferred: Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite/Adobe Premiere and a DSLR Camera for photo
and video
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with

Light work.
Examples: Work performed involves frequently standing and walking for extended periods of time;
must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to a maximum of 25 pounds unassisted; will
occasionally have to walk on uneven terrain; frequently operating computer keyboard.
WORKING CONDITIONS: General inside office conditions, some flexibility for outside activity
in varying weather conditions; availability to work overtime as needed.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Two-way communication with Communications Specialist and VP of Corporate
Services regarding the status of video creation and plans for future videos. Work with multiple
departments with how-to videos and other spotlight videos.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

based on the business needs of Tri-County EMC. The basic requirement of every position is to perform
all tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Create content for videos using a still camera, video camera, etc.
- Work with Tri-County EMC employees to develop video content
- Compile content and edit videos for publication
