How to Play StarStable

Star Stable Online, also known as Star Stable, SSO or SS, is a
MMORPG produced by Star Stable Entertainment AB, based in Sweden.
The game is based upon the earlier game series Starshine Legacy, Star
Academy and Star Stable, and begun development during 2007. In 2010
SSE bought the rights to the game and started developing a more
advanced online version which kept most elements from the previous
games.
Part 1: Make an Account
First, to play StarStable you have to make an account. You will have to put in your email, password, and other
information you put in to make game accounts.

Part 2: Downloading the Game
To download the game, click download at the top right corner beside log
in or play now. If you follow the directions you should be able to
download it. After downloading it to the desktop, exit the internet and
double click the icon with the horse on it. The game takes 2 through 4
hours to actually download. When it is done click “Play Now” at the
bottom right corner. The launcher will look like this when you open it:
Part 3: Creating Your Character
After the game loads, you can create a
character and horse. When creating a
character, you can change the hair color, eyes,
make-up, and more. For your horse, you can only change the mane and body
color. Later on in the game, you can change your character’s clothes, hair, and
make-up. To change it though, it costs coins or
star coins, which I will talk about later.
There are different salons around Jorvik. If you have enough star coins you can buy different horses. There are
a lot of different breeds of horses. Some examples are: Quarter horse, Shire horse, ponies, Fjords, and a lot
more!
Part 4: Beginning
When you finish creating your character and horse, you will load into Moorland Stables. You will
spawn beside Justin Moorland. He will talk to you and teach you how to move.
Part 5: Moving You & Your Horse
To move your person,
Use W, S, D, and A. Or you can use the arrow keys.
Your person can not jump, so no spacebar for your character.
For your horse to move, it is the same to move as your character but use X to
stop immediately.
If you are a Star Rider and level five, use the spacebar to
jump.
For both, your horse and character, right click and move the
mouse around to look around the area.
Part 6: Taking Care of Your Horse
A big thing is taking care of your horse. You will need a brush, hoof pick, an empty bucket, and food for your
horse. To get food, there will be little shops around Jorvik, where you can buy the food for your horse.
To get water, open your
inventory by pressing i.
then drag the empty bucket
to the well. When it is outlined
with green, let go of your mouse.
Now, to take care of your horse,
open your inventory and dismount
your horse by clicking the arrow
beside the mini map.
Drag either the hoof pick, brush, food, or water from your inventory to your horse until outlined with green.
Then let go and repeat with all of them. After doing them all, you will get a reward.
Make sure to take care of your horse everyday or else it will get sad. The sadder it becomes, the worse it will
perform in races and other competitions.
Part 7: Quests
Doing quests level your character up. The higher the level, the more exciting the game gets. When you get to
levels 12 – 14 you unlock Golden Hills, and around level 15 you unlock Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur. Each
time you unlock new place, the more quests you get.
Part 8: Star Coins and Coins
In most games, you have two ways to pay for in game stuff. It’s the same with
StarStable. You have Star Coins, blue coins with a star on them, and coins. Regular
golden coins.
Part 9: Have Fun!
The title says it all. After you know most of these things you are ready to start. The quests givers will tell you
what to do, but if they don’t you can search how to do other things on Google or other programs. If you have
problems with the game, you can message the developers and tell them. Good luck, and have fun!
