Phil Parkinson #WeAreTogether 1877 Bolton Wanderers as they are known today were formed after starting life three years’ previous as Christ Church FC. 1888 The Club become one of 12 founding members of The Football League alongside the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Preston North End. 1895 The Whites moved into Burnden Park and played their first game against Preston North End. Season ticket guarantee - enjoy the best prices as a season ticket holder and • that’s a guarantee! • Adult season tickets from as little as £13.74 per match for adults (23 matches). • Under 18 season tickets from an incredible £3.26 per match (23 matches). • Family ticket (adult and under 18) from as little as £15.87 per match (23 matches). • Exclusive season ticket holder benefits throughout 2017/18. 1923 Wanderers became the first Club to win an FA Cup Final at the old Wembley Stadium, defeating West Ham United 2-0 in what was dubbed as the White Horse Final. 1928 Bolton were forced to sell David Jack to Arsenal for £10,890 - a fee which at the time was a world record and more than double the previous most expensive transfer of a player. 1929 The Trotters made it three FA Cup successes inside six years by running out 2-0 winners over Portsmouth, following on from another triumph in 1926 against Manchester City. Direct Debit Scheme Auto-Renewals If you paid for your season ticket(s) by Direct Debit for the 2016/17 season you do not need to take any action as we will renew your seat automatically with a new Direct Debit schedule over 11 months. Your first payment for next season will be taken on or around June 5, 2017 and the 1st of the month thereafter. We will send you a new schedule of payments for your 2017/18 season ticket shortly. If you do not want to renew at this time or pay by direct debit over 11-months then simply let us know before May 26 and we will cancel you from the scheme. Your seat will remain available for you to renew at any time until June 29 when it will be released for sale if you choose not to renew. Important Information For Direct Debits All supporters who either have their season tickets auto-renewed by Direct Debit or sign up for the 2017/18 season will be charged a £10 administration fee, per individual seat. This charge will be factored into your monthly payments over the course of your Direct Debit term. #WeAreTogether 1946 Burnden Park became the scene of what was at the time the worst tragedy in British football history with 33 Bolton fans being crushed to death at an FA Cup game against Stoke City. 1953 Wanderers returned to Wembley, only to come out on the wrong end of a 4-3 scoreline against Blackpool in the now infamous Stanley Matthews FA Cup Final. 1958 Just months after the tragedy that was the Munich Air Disaster, Bolton defeated Manchester United 2-0 in the FA Cup Final courtesy of a brace from Nat Lofthouse.
