The FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway Player Development Centre Person Specification ASSISTANT COACH (U15 & U11) Title Salary Location Session Responsible to Purpose of post Start Date: Berks & Bucks FA Girls Player Development Centre £15.00 x 1.5 hours (Practical Coaching Sessions) RAF Naphill, High Wycombe, HP14 4UL Mondays 7.00 – 8.30pm Berks & Bucks FA FDO / FA PDC Centre Manager Deliver practical football sessions in line with the FA Girls’ Player Development Centre technical programme October 2014 – April 2015 Responsible for; Providing high quality coaching and support Implementing a training and games programme in line with LTPD guidelines To support the Head Coach The welfare of players within their designated age group Key skills and Experience Required: Essential FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football FA Youth Award Module 1 and 2 FA Licensed FA Emergency Aid Certificate Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop Certificate An accepted Enhanced FA CRC (Criminal Record Check within the last 3 years) Experience in coaching girls’ football An understanding of current FA Girls Pathway and local grassroots girls football Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs Willingness to work weekdays (3 across season) and attend training events when required Own transport essential Key Skills and Experienced Required: Desirable An understanding of Talent Identification An appreciation of Long Term Player Development Knowledge and understanding of working with young players Ability to work in a team environment Understanding of the FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway If you are interested in this position please send your CV with a covering letter clearly stating which position you are applying for to: Berks & Bucks FA Football Development Officer, Stephanie Litten Email: [email protected] or further information please telephone: (01367) 246815 Successful candidates will be required to commit to once a week for a 24 week coaching programme and a minimum of 3 fixtures during the PDC Programme.
