A Note From Jim Merrill – President/CEO
2016 was a year of growth
for Inspire Federal Credit
Union. We kicked off the
year opening a new branch in
Langhorne and announced
that we achieved a milestone
of exceeding $100 million
in assets for the first time in
our history. It is with pleasure
I communicate to you that we
finished the year experiencing continued growth, with
assets reaching nearly $130 million. Your credit union’s
growth allows us to continue offering competitively
priced products and services, while expanding our
market presence throughout Bucks County.

a new location planned to open later this spring. The
new building, located at 3 Friends Lane in Newtown,
PA will serve as our new corporate headquarters,
housing our back office operations and will have
a full service branch attached to it. The move has
been made necessary by our recent growth, and it

Bleed Purple Blood Drive

On Saturday, February 11, we will be hosting
our 4th Bleed Purple Blood Drive in partnership
with the American Red Cross. Your support
during these drives has helped us collect over
130 units of blood that has resulted in helping
save almost 400 lives in our community.

Inspired to Run Helping Our Community
On Sunday, November 6,
Inspire FCU pledged
their support as the
corporate sponsors of
the 5 Mile Scholarship
Trot, hosted by the
Middletown Community
Foundation. Along with a
financial contribution, Inspire
FCU sent a team to participate in
the 5 mile run and 2 mile fun walk. The event raised
nearly $5,000 to support community service

a special one for Inspire
and our community.
We were able to
collect over 500
pounds of nonperishable items
and $450 in cash
that we donated to
Mary’s Cupboard of
Levittown.

In 2016 we had the opportunity to sponsor and support Operation Helping Hand,
a county wide food drive hosted by United Way of Bucks County. We’re excited
to announce that we’ll be the supporting sponsor again in 2017! Your effort
and support in 2016 helped United Way exceed their goal and raise over 67,000
pounds of non-perishable items that were donated to food pantries throughout
our community. Collection will begin in February - stay tuned for more information
and how you can help your neighbors in need!

Mall for our annual Shredder Event. The trucks
will begin shredding at 9AM and will conclude
by 12PM. Bring tax documents, insurance papers,
credit card offers and anything else with sensitive
