Prerequisites: Must Pass the required swim test prior to registering for class and be 15 years old by the time
the class concludes (proof of age required).
Required Swim Test: Will be held on Sundays at 11 am at North Shore Aquatic Complex or scheduled by
appointment.
Register in Person: North Shore Aquatic Complex - Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 am – 6:30 pm; Tuesday,
Thursday 7:00 am – 8:00 pm;
Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm; Sunday 11:00 am – 4:00pm.
Fee: $160.00 Pool fee (includes $35 Red Cross fee). Payment due at time of registration, make checks payable
to City of St. Petersburg.
Materials: Books may be downloaded for free or purchased online at www.redcrossstore.org.
Suggested Supplies: Two towels, warm clothes to change into, books (see above), e-reader (for downloadable
material), pen, pencil, highlighter, lunch, drinks and snacks.
What to Expect: Online and reading assignments must be completed prior to each class. Come prepared to
swim every day, including the first day.
