Edition 25 Week Ending 27.03.15 Pause for Easter On Tuesday 31st March we will be holding a ‘Pause for Easter’ afternoon for the whole school. Naming Uniform Please, please would parents make sure each item of uniform is clearly marked, ESPECIALLY YEAR 1/2. PE days are becoming very difficult! Lots of Socks Day Thank you for Supporting Down Syndrome awareness week, we have had some wonderful socks and raised over £70.00 for the charity. We hope many of you saw the photograph and write up in the Oldham Chronicle. The Story of Peter Rabbit On Good Friday ’The story of Peter Rabbit’ is on Cebeebies at 11.00am. We thought it would be lovely for all the children to watch in key stage 1, especially those in years 1 & 2 who have been learning all about Beatrix Potter this half term. Thursday 2nd- April - Easter Service in church at 9.20am -school closes for Easter at 3.15 pm Return to school on Monday 20th April Reception Class Resources Miss Rogers and Mrs Mudd would be very grateful if parents could save and wash any yoghurt pots they may have, so that they can be used as glue pots when children are working under the canopy. World Autism Awareness Week We are supporting World Autism Awareness Week and on Wednesday April 1st. We are asking the children to come to school wearing their Onesie, pyjamas or something pink and purple. We would appreciate any donations towards the charity. Play Time Football As we enter Spring and the weather is improving, the children will be allowed onto the main field to play football after the Easter break. In order for the children to play on the fields they need to bring into school a change of clothes as they can still get very muddy whilst playing on the grass.
