You should see this on your screen:
3. Extension: Enter YOUR 7 digit phone number (this is also your extension number)
4. Password: Enter your password you set up.
5. If you would like it to remember your password click the remember password box
6. Click submit and you will see a page like below, but with your info:
7. On the Left hand side you will see a list of links: Voicemail, VmX locator, Settings, and Logout.

When you initially log in you are in the Voicemail link. This link will show you all

used for changing your bailout number/numbers.
a. The bailout option is used when someone gets your voice mail and they want/need to talk with
someone. By pressing the 0 key, they will be transferred to the number you assign. When you
record your greeting, and you want to use this feature, please be sure to give the caller instructions
to press 0 to reach someone (e.g. You have reached Karen Smith and I am either on the phone or
away from my desk at the moment. Please leave me a detailed message, your name and number
and I will return your call as soon as possible. If you need immediate assistance, press 0 now.
Thank you! (the caller will then be transferred to the number you assigned)
b. There are 2 additional options you can have. If you are going to be away from your phone and
you wish to use the other options, you can have 2 other choices for your callers (e.g. You have
reached Karen Smith and I am unavailable at the moment. If this is an emergency and you need
to reach me, please press 1 now. If you wish to speak to Gail Raines, press 2 or leave your name
and number and I will return your call as soon as possible. (Then you could enter your cell phone
or your home number or any number you wish (not long distance) in option 1 and someone else’s
number in option 2 and the caller will be automatically transferred to that number.
c. To set this up, you have to enter a 9 first as this tells the voice mail system to dial out, next enter the
