ANNOUNCEMENT
POWER GENERATION FOR SECOND QUARTER OF 2017
This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing
of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Inside Information
Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of
the Laws of Hong Kong).
The board of directors (the “Board”) of Huadian Fuxin Energy Corporation
Limited(the “Company”) announces that, according to the preliminary statistics of
the Company, the gross power generation of the Company for the second quarter
of 2017 amounted to 10,843,979.8 MWh, representing a decrease of 5.5% over the
corresponding period of 2016. Of which, the hydropower generation was 3,179,491.2
MWh, representing a decrease of 30.4% over the corresponding period of 2016; the
coal-fired power generation was 2,769,628.3 MWh, representing an increase of 3.1%
over the corresponding period of 2016; the wind power generation was 3,877,484.2
MWh, representing an increase of 15.8% over the corresponding period of 2016; the
solar power generation was 356,215.7 MWh, representing an increase of 15.9% over
the corresponding period of 2016; the natural gas-fired (distributed) power generation
was 617,044.2 MWh, representing an increase of 17.9% over the corresponding
period of 2016; and the power generation of other clean energy was 44,116.2 MWh,
representing an increase of 3.0% over the corresponding period of 2016.
For the six months ended 30 June 2017, the total power generation of the Company
amounted to 20,114,405.9 MWh, representing a decrease of 3.8% compared with
that of the corresponding period of 2016. Of which, the hydropower generation was
5,290,996.0 MWh, representing a decrease of 33.4% over the corresponding period of
2016; the coal-fired power generation was 5,846,977.6 MWh, representing an increase
of 21.5% over the corresponding period of 2016; the wind power generation amounted
to 7,129,701.1 MWh, representing an increase of 11.3 % over the corresponding period
of 2016; the solar power generation was 643,018.6 MWh, representing an increase
of 15.7% over the corresponding period of 2016; the natural gas-fired (distributed)

power generation was 1,115,029.8 MWh, representing an increase of 2.3% over the
corresponding period of 2016; and the power generation of other clean energy was
88,682.9 MWh, representing an increase of 0.1% over the corresponding period of
2016.
