Case Study Management support at PFI Contract in London Location Queen Elizabeth Hospital Greenwich London Date November 2015 –March 2016 Primary Contact Paul Goodridge –Director Background FMS were commissioned to deliver a number of distinct services for Vinci during the period of engagement. These included Headhunting a new Operations Director Client Management support Compliance auditing Team Building. Challenges Vinci at QEH had a new client and had had several Contract Managers this had led to a situation where progress was “stalling” with the client and some short-term support was required to move the contract forward. Project overview FMS had worked at QEH with Vinci before and so had a deep understanding of many of the site specific issues and this assisted FMS in reaching targets and milestones much quicker. This working knowledge of Vinci also helped FMS to fulfill its obligations in terms of headhunting as it was clear about the type and profile of the individual needed by Vinci. Services Provided FMS provide the following services to Vinci either directly or indirectly to Vinci at the QEH site Headhunting at Director level Interim Site Management cover Client Management Compliance Auditing Teambuilding Management Reviews. Solutions/Outputs The on-site Vinci management team given the short term support by FMS were able to concentrate on other priorities whilst being assured that other areas of the contract were being supported and developed. Outcomes/Results Senior Director identified and recruited by Vinci • Review of complete Capitec Audit • Development of enhanced site based Hard FM filing system • Enhanced Management Structure • Improved team spirit.
