Mmatoti Wilderness Lodge
1. What is important to know is that Mmatoti Wilderness Lodges and Mugaba Game Reserve are
the first two Sustainable International Community Lodges in South Africa. Kwa Madwala
Private Game Reserve is the mentor for these community based lodges and their staff is being
trained at Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve.
2. Mmatoti Wilderness Lodge will offer Community Tours in their area from the beginning of
January 2015.
3. The Lodge will be 3 star graded.

Location:
Mmatoti Wilderness Lodge is situated close to Loskop Dam and the Loskop Dam Nature Reserve, near
the town of Groblersdal in the northern Mpumalanga Province. It is about 60 km north of Middelburg
and 250 km east of Johannesburg.
Description:
The Lodge has 7 en-suite self-catering rooms with a private lounge and garden area. Facilities include
a swimming pool, restaurant that serves delicious South African cuisine, a Boma area and a
Conference Room. It is also the perfect venue for intimate Bush Weddings.
The Lodge will offer Quid Bike Trails and Hiking Trails in 2015.
