L-EBS
The Local Exchange Terminal (LET) Electronic Business Set
(L-EBS) plug-in card for the Tellabs™ 1000 Multiservice Access
Platform (MSAP) provides six trunk terminating loop start
proprietary telephone service (P-phone) circuits.
FAIL
BUSY
The L-EBS card installs in the LET and has a counterpart R-EBS
card in the Remote Subscriber Terminal (RST). When a P-phone
is connected to the L-EBS card, the circuit is direct-mapped to
the corresponding R-EBS card, and the span is unavailable for
concentration. If no P-phone is connected, the EBS circuit is
available for concentration.
