WARNING! Read all assembly, field assembly and safety instructions associated with The Booster™ or The Vertex™ Quad-Pods prior
to using this product. Failure to follow these instructions and warnings may result in serious injury or death!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
These instructions assume you have fully assembled your existing CR9400 or CR9500 quad-pod. Please keep all existing
hardware; instructions may require you to remove it temporarily but all parts will be required for complete assembly.
To ensure proper fit, finger tighten all nuts and bolts until instructed to fully tighten.
STEP 1. Loosen and remove the (4) 5/16" x 1 1/4" hex bolts [C] and (4) 5/16" nylock nuts that are currently connecting the existing lower
and upper leg sections. Also, loosen and remove the (8) 5/16" x 1 1/4" hex bolts and (8) 5/16" nylock nuts that are currently connecting
the bottom of the existing cross supports to the lower leg sections. Remove the existing lower leg sections. (see fig. 1)
STEP 2. Insert (4) extension leg sections into the upper leg sections and secure using (4) 5/16"
x 1 1/4" hex bolts [C] and (4) 5/16" nylock nuts. Then, reinsert the (4) lower leg sections into the
extension leg sections securing with (4) 5/16" x 1 1/4" hex bolts [C] and (4) 5/16" nylock nuts.
NOTE: All brackets on the leg sections should face inward. (see fig. 2)
STEP 3. Identify the (8) horizontal support pieces by the L-brackets on one end. Insert the (4)
unsleeved horizontal supports into the (4) sleeved horizontal supports and secure with (4) 5/16"
x 1 1/4" hex bolts [C] and (4) 5/16" nylock nuts. NOTE: L-brackets on the end should both be facing
the same direction. (see fig. 3)
STEP 4. Next, assemble the X-supports by inserting the (8) unsleeved X-supports into the
(8) sleeved X-supports and secure using (8) 5/16" x 1 1/4" hex bolts [C] and (8) 5/16" nylock
nuts. (see fig. 3)
STEP 5. Connect an extension leg bracket, horizontal support L-bracket, existing cross
support and X-support using (1) 5/16" x 2 1/4" hex bolt [B] and (1) 5/16" nylock nut. NOTE:
The order these parts are connected is critical for proper alignment. If the existing cross
support is on the inside of the upper horizontal support, then, it should attach to the inside of
the extension leg bracket with the horizontal support L-bracket and X-bracket on the
outside of the extension leg bracket. (see fig. 4A) If the existing cross support is on the
outside of the upper horizontal support, then it should attach to the outside of the horizontal
support L-bracket. (see fig. 4B) (The horizontal support L-bracket will always be directly
outside the extension leg bracket and the X-supports will always be on the outer most par
in the assembly.

INSTALLING YOUR FREESTANDING PLATFORM IN THE FIELD
WARNING! Never attempt to hunt from an unlevel platform. Additionally,
never attempt to level your freestanding platform at heights above the ground.
If you find your platform is unlevel, canted or angled awkwardly upward or
downward, or in any configuration other than level, readjust your freestanding
platform as necessary to alleviate this awkward angle. Failure to follow these
instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! You must have three (3) adults to install or remove your freestanding
platform. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
STEP 1. Gently lift the platform of the freestanding platform and walk it up until erect. (fig. 1)
STEP 2. Check to make sure the platform is on secure and level ground and the platform
is level. If the platform is unlevel, adjust the bottom legs until the platform is level.
NOTE: Holes are provided in the feet to allow for staking to the ground for additional
safety. Extreme precaution should be used to ensure that the stand is stable prior to
