Student Introduction
 My name is Ryan.
 I am 8 years old.
 I am in 2nd grade.
 I go to Neil Armstrong.
Being told “No”
 Sometimes when I ask my teachers to
do something they say, “No”.
 I get really upset and mad when I am
told “no”.
Accepting “No”
 I need to know that my teacher only
says “No” because:
 I may need to finish my work
 What I want may not be available
 It is just not the right time
Say, “Okay”
 I need to remember to always say,
“Okay” and not get mad.
 Other phrases I can say are:
 That’s alright
 That’s fine
 Roger
Stay Calm
 If I stay calm and don’t get mad when I
am told “no”, then my teacher will be
very happy.
 She may let me do something I want to
do later.

 If I stay calm and don’t get mad my
teacher will let me choose something
else to do that I enjoy.
