WHAT MAKES OUR TOURNAMENT MINI EURO SPECIAL AND DIFFERENT TO OTHERS?
Unique international atmosphere
The MINI EURO is a real international tournament. 18 teams take part in the tournament. They come from 16 different
nations. The teams are ambassadors of their home-country.
Top-class opposition during the whole tournament
Only top teams take part at the MINI EURO. All 18 teams are experienced Academy teams. Our guests always count
among the most prominent Premier League clubs in their home-country. Our special game mode with group games,
play-off and play-down groups guarantees that each team plays 5–6 games a day (making 100 minutes in total a day
and 200 minutes in total during the week-end).
Top-class accommodation and food
At the MINI EURO, the teams and the staff are always accommodated in three-star spa hotels. Frantiskovy Lazne is one
of the most well-known Czech spas. Kings and Emperors spent their holidays there leaving behind a unique fin-de-siecle
atmosphere. The hotels have been recently renovated. They offer state-of-the art accommodation. The food and drinks
served for the teams are carefully selected meals for young football players.
Special intercultural experience
The MINI EURO is a unique tournament taking part in two countries on two days. The advantage of the tournament
sites in the Czech-German border region is that the boys and the staff get to know two different countries and cultures
in a short time. It is a tradition that the first tournament day takes part in Frantiskovy Lazne (Czech Republic). The second
tournament day and the finals take part in the neighbouring German city of Rehau.
„Greatest week-end in my life“
All this together creates an exciting tournament atmosphere unique in European terms. We are glad that all the teams
who visited us are always willing to come back. We are particularly happy that the boys are deeply enjoying their stay
here. „This was the greatest week-end in my life“, one boy from Glasgow said after the tournament to his parents with
a smile on his face. Our aim is that every child taking part in MINI EURO will be as happy as this little Scotsman. Then,
our MINI EURO will have lasting success in both, top-class youth football and intercultural understanding.
