The bus trips listed below will be on sale 10:00 am Tuesday, January 3. Be sure to
add your name to the waiting list of a sold out trip, cancellations do happen!
Refund Policy re LVSA Bus Trips
Full refunds are only given if LVSA cancels a trip or if your seat can be sold
to someone on our waiting list for that same trip
PLEASE NOTE;
Please limit your use of scented products like hairsprays and perfumes when
going on bus trips. Some people can be very sensitive to these scents, especially
in enclosed spaces. We very much appreciate your consideration.
Bloedel Conservatory & Oakridge Mall
Monday, January 16, 9:30am to 3:15pm
Cost: Members $20; Non-members $30
Can’t make it to Hawaii this winter? Instead take a short tropical break at the
Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park. We will spend about 1 hour
enjoying the exotic plants and flowers, and free flying exotic birds in the lush
domed paradise. After visiting the Conservatory the bus will take us to nearby
Oakridge Centre, where we will have 2.5 hours to enjoy lunch (not included in
price). Lots of walking you may bring your walker.

Elements Casino
Friday, January 27, 9:30am to 3:30pm
Cost: Members $15; Non-members $25
We will venture across the Port Mann Bridge to Elements Casino in Surrey, where
you can play a variety of table games, or try your luck at the slots! Enjoy lunch
(not included in price) at the buffet, or one of the other restaurants. Bring your
encore card and get $5.00 free slot play. Also bring your card in when you buy
your bus trip ticket so we can contact them ahead of time to have the $5 loaded
on your card to save time. Limited walking, you may bring your walker

Tsawwassen Mills Mall
Thursday, February 2, 9:00am to 3:30pm
Cost: Members $15; Non-members $25
We will travel to Tsawwassen Mills Mall, BC’s newest and largest shopping
destination offering a varied mix of premium retailers and outlet offerings. We
will spend 4 hours here at the nearly 200 stores, with time for lunch at
restaurants and food court (not included in price).
Lots of walking, the mall is one level, you may bring your walker.

Senior’s Snow shoeing with Enjoy Tours
Tuesday, February 7, 9:00am to 4:30pm
Cost: Members $109; Non-members $119
If you can walk you can snowshoe. Beginners are welcome on this winter
wonderland adventure in Cypress Mountain. The Hollyburn Meadows Tour is a 2
hour snowshoe walk led by an experienced trail guide who will share the rich
cultural and natural history of Hollyburn Ridge as you explore the snowy
mountain fores. We will make a 1 hour stop at the rustic Hollyburn Lodge to enjoy
lunch (included in price) and a warm drink. Take an hour of afternoon free time to
sit on a peaceful bench and feed the whiskey jacks at First Lake, or continue snow
shoeing until you are escorted down the 20 minute trail for departure.

Cavalia Odysseo with Enjoy Tours

The internationally acclaimed Cavalia pushes the limits of live entertainment with
its newest production “Cavalia Odyesso”. The performance features 63 horses
and 47 artists in the White Big Top at Olympic Village. This 2.5hour larger than life
theatrical production will send your heart racing. Trip includes seats in the blue
section, lunch at Calabria Bar Italian Café and escort to your seats.

The Richmond Olympic Experience
Friday, February 17, 8:45am to 4:00pm

The Richmond Oval Experience (ROX) at the Richmond Olympic Oval is the first
North American member of the international Olympic Committee’s Museum
network. We will start with a tour of the venues for the events held at the
Richmond Oval during the 2010 Winter Olympics. We will then spend additional
time at the ROX, which includes a movie, many inter-active Olympic displays, as
well as sports simulators! After our time at the ROX the bus will take us to
Steveston for lunch (not included in price), before heading home.

Aquarium & Stanley Park Pavilion

We’re off to Stanley Park to the world famous Vancouver Aquarium where we will
have 2 hours to tour the exhibits (price includes admission to aquarium). We will
then have lunch (not included in price) at the Stanley Park Pavilion, Stanley’s Bar
and Grill, featuring a west coast inspired menu, and some of BC’s finest craft
beers or wine from the deck overlooking Stanley Park.(Restaurant may add

Treat yourself to a springtime drive to Fort Langley, and delicious High Tea
(included in price) at the quaint Little White House Shop and Café.High Tea
includes a number of sweet and savoury indulgences including scones,
shortbread, croissant sandwiches, macaroons and Crème de Earl Grey Tea.

Cost: Members $14, Non-members $24
We’re off to Coquitlam to the first Hard Rock Casino in Canada! Try your luck at
over 900 of the newest, most fun slot machines- everything from penny machine
right up to high limits. Table games include blackjack, roulette, craps, poker table
and more. Enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants. Minimal walking, you may
