FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE First Move in the Park of the Summer this Friday- April 29th! Boerne, TX– Arrive early for this Friday’s free movie in the park at Boerne’s Main Plaza. The theme is Honoring Our Heroes at this first event of the Boerne Parks and Recreation Department Summer Scene lineup. Check out Boerne Police and Kendall County Sheriff vehicles, as well as an EMS ambulance, and get a chance to visit with some of our local heroes. This month’s feature film is “Max”, rated PG, and starts at dark. “Max” is a family film about a military hero dog. *** Side effects may include uncontrollable warm and fuzzies. *** Prior to the show, the Best Tasting Lemonade contest will be held at the Gazebo. Local young entrepreneurs will be set up and ready for tasting following the judging around 5:30pm. Other free preshow activities, sponsored by the Living Hope Church, kick off at 6:30pm and include bounce houses and arts and crafts for the kids! Bring your own picnic foods and drinks or purchase something yummy from a food truck that will be at the Plaza. Make sure to bring lawn chairs or comfy blankets to sit on.
