GAME PLAN #2 :: Calling an Audible {Andy Stanley}
INTRODUCTION
The Bible includes people that had a clear understanding about God’s will for their life. What did they
know about God’s will that I don’t? Is there a way to get better at discerning God’s will for my life?
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1.
Have you ever seen a fortune-teller or called a psychic hotline? Why are these mediums so
popular?
2. When have you ever asked God to show you his will for your life?
3. When have you faithfully or unfaithfully participated in the providential will of God?
4. Should the moral will of God extend to people who don’t believe in God?
5. Read 2 Peter 3:4-9. What is one area where the providential, moral, and personal will of God clearly
intersect?
6. How does submitting to the known will of God pave the way to discovering the unknown?
MOVING FORWARD
Embracing the known will of God is the key to discovering the unknown will of God. And what is God’s
known will? It’s for you to recognize and embrace his son, Jesus, as your savior. God’s personal will for
you is that you would turn in his direction and place your faith in his son as your savior.
CHANGING YOUR MIND
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with
you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
