Appointment of postal voting agents A referendum agent can appoint postal voting agents by completing this form and returning it to the relevant Counting Officer before the postal vote opening session (in Northern Ireland, also the issuing session) the agent wishes to attend. The Counting Officer will give referendum agents at least 48 hours’ notice and state the maximum number of postal voting agents that may be appointed.
