the applicable private owner, private lessor, or city smoking
policy, not trespassing on private property, and not littering
tobacco products on private property or city-owned streets
and sidewalks. Also, please abide by all pedestrian safety
ordinances and refrain from standing in city-owned streets.

The Smoke-Free Campus Policy prohibits Smoking in the
following locations that may not be displayed on this map:
• Willard Airport;
• Robert Allerton Park, including but not limited to the Allerton Park and Retreat Center;
• Research and Education Centers operated by the College of ACES and located throughout the State of Illinois;
• Property under the jurisdiction of the Committee on Natural Areas;
• Property leased and occupied, owned or operated by the university on behalf of the
Urbana-Champaign campus within the State of Illinois.
As of January 1, 2014, Smoking is prohibited on all
Campus Property at the University of Illinois at Urbana–
Champaign, both indoors and outdoors, in universityowned vehicles, and in privately-owned vehicles parked
on Campus Property. For the complete Smoke-Free
Campus Policy, please see http://cam.illinois.edu/v/v-B2.1.htm. The Smoke Free Illinois Act, 420 ILCS 82/1-90,
also prohibits Smoking within 15 feet of any entrance to
a public place or place of employment.
