General Class Policies
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to discuss them with us. Our staff and
instructors are always happy to discuss and explain specific classes and the policies.
Dress Codes
For all programs: No jeans, jean shorts, or any clothing with metal buttons or zippers. No street
shoes in the gymnastics area. Hair must be pulled back away from the face.
Preschool: One-piece leotard snug-fitting T-shirt and shorts. No Dresses! Socks are a must for
trampoline.
Gymnastics: One-piece leotard or snug-fitting T-shirt and shorts. Tank tops are allowed, but no
spaghetti strap shirts or midriff tops please. Gymnasts should have socks available, but will only be
used on the trampolines.
Tumbling & Trampoline: One-piece leotard or snug-fitting T-shirt and shorts. Tank tops are
allowed, but no spaghetti strap shirts or midriff tops please. Underarmor style shirts are a great
choice. Socks are required on the trampolines.
Cheer: Snug-fitting T-shirt and shorts. Tank tops are allowed, but no spaghetti strap or midriff tops
please. May wear cheer shoes, they must be shoes that are not wore outside.
Jewelry: Please have your child remove all jewelry before class starts. (Small stud-style earrings
are allowed, although we would prefer you remove those as well.) Jewelry can easily get caught on
something and be broken or cause injury. Children will be asked to remove any jewelry they wear
into the gym. Amplify is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Hair: Make sure hair is pulled back and out of face.
Attendance Policies
Make-up Classes: Gymnastics, Cheer and T&T students in Kindergarten and older may use
the Saturday Workout as a make-up. Gymnastics students age 5 or younger may use our preschool
open gym as a make-up. We only allow 1 makeup per four week session. Student has 30 days to
make up class.
We do not pro-rate or give credit for missed classes.
Being on Time: Please make an effort to be on time (or a little early) to your class each week.
Warm-ups are a very important part of class - besides preparing the body physically for class; we
are preparing mentally, reviewing skills, and discussing important safety issues.
Late Arrivals: Students who arrive after warm-ups are complete (15min or more) will not be
allowed in class and will be asked to schedule a make-up class. Arriving very late is a distraction to
the class as well as being unsafe for your student. We do enforce this policy.
Pick-up and drop-off
In order to make class transitions smoother, please keep the following in mind when dropping-off
and picking-up your child. Children under 4 must have an adult available in gym.
Parking: Parking is available on the east and south sides of the building. There is minimal parking on the
north side of the building. Do not park in front of the entrance, this area is for pick up and drop off only. The
only entrance is the north entrance. Do not block by ways. Park behind yellow parking blocks first.
Be Prepared: Please be sure your child is ready for class. Hair should be pulled back, jewelry removed,
and drinks and potty breaks taken care of before class starts.
Observe from the upper deck: Due to traffic flow in the gym we request that all visitors who wish to stay
and observe do so from our observation deck on the second floor. See below for observation information.
Observing Classes
Observers in the gym: We do not allow general foot traffic past the gym entrance doors. This is
predominantly for safety reasons.
Talking to students: To minimize distractions to the classes, as well as for safety, please do not talk to
students while they are in class.
NO flash photography! This is not only distracting to all our students, but dangerous as well.
Siblings: Brothers and sisters are welcome to accompany parents in the observation area. Parents are
responsible for their child's behavior, entertainment, and safety. If your child becomes a distraction to others
in the observation area, or is using unsafe behavior, you may be asked leave that area.
Children not in class must be supervised at all times!
Closures:
Snow Days: We rarely close due to inclement weather. If the weather is bad, please call before coming in.
If we do close, we will post it on our website at www.amplifygymnastics.com or check Facebook.
Please use your best judgment when deciding whether or not to come to class during inclement weather.
Remember, keeping your family safe is more important than attending one class. You may use Open
Gym to make up missed classes due to weather.
School Closures: Our customers attend schools in many different school districts. Please, do not assume
that your child does not have class because the schools are closed in your area. Scheduled closures are
posted in office on Session Schedules, and are also posted on mail that is handed out at the end of each
class. Please call the office if you are in doubt.
MISC…
Weekly mail will be sent home with your child every day after class. This does have important information,
such as class closures, scheduled changes, policy reminders and changes, ect… PLEASE make sure to get
them from your student and read thoroughly.
BILLING POLICIES
Tuition Payment, Enrollment, and Billing Information for school-year classes:
When signing up for classes the annual administration fee of $40 and first month’s tuition are due (tuition may be
prorated). For those who choose automatic billing, tuition will be pulled on the first of every month regardless of when the
session starts. All other payment methods are due BEFORE the first day of the session. Payments made 7 days after the
sessions starts will be considered late, and a late charge will be applied. While we prefer auto draft, we accept cash, check,
credit and debit cards.
Please Note: WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS! When you sign up you are filling a spot that may not be filled by another
client so we cannot offer refunds, sorry for the inconvenience. Your child is enrolling in a continuous program that has
recurring monthly tuition. You are continuously enrolled in the program and will incur tuition charges every 4 weeks (or
monthly for competitive athletes) on your account until you submit a withdrawal request (available at the business office
and on our website).
4-week payment blocks: Each payment covers four weeks of classes, however the four weeks covered by a payment
do not always line up with the beginning of a month. Please see our annual calendar for specific dates.
Bounced Payments: If your payment is rejected by your banking institution due to insufficient funds, your account
will be charged a $15 bounced payment fee. After rejection, the bank automatically reruns your payment. The $15 fee will
be added to your account following the rejection.
Monthly Payment Options:
_____ Automatic Billing: Please charge my checking or savings account each month for my balance due.
_____I do not have, or do not wish, to give my banking information and opt to pay a tuition deposit. Tuition deposit is one
month’s/ session’s tuition and will be applied to your last month/session of class. Just let us know before your last session
starts and we will apply your deposit to that month’s/ session’s tuition.
Withdrawal Policy for deposit option: Just let us know in writing 7 days before the session you wish to be your last.
For example, if you plan to make the March session your last, inform us in writing in February, 7 days before the next
session stars. This gives us adequate time and to apply your deposit, and un-enroll them from the class. If you have not
paid by the first week of the new session your deposit will be applied to that session’s tuition. In addition, a drop will be
scheduled for the last day of that session. If you wish to keep your athlete enrolled, a new deposit will need to be applied.
Withdrawal Policy for ACH: Just let us know in writing by the 15th day of the month you wish to be your last. For
example, if you plan to make March your last month, inform us in writing by March 15th. This gives us adequate time to
stop your payment. Payments are stopped that day. If we are not informed by the 15th, all tuition charges will be applied
on the first of the next month. Withdraw forms are available at the front desk or online. There are NO refunds.
