Child AC

Being Imaginative Moderation Materials
Child AC: Autumn Birthday: Pupil Premium
Playing and Exploring
Child AC likes playing outside and can often be seen racing on the bikes and scooters. He has shown good teamwork by being
able to share and take turns on the tandem bike on regular occasions. He likes to play with small world transport toys but his
games always take on a similar pattern of cars going backwards and forwards on the ramp and up and down the garage lift.
Active Learning
During whole class discussions, Child AC can get easily distracted but with some gentle prompting will share his views and
attempts to answer questions. He can stay on self-chosen activities for longer spells for example he played in the water tray,
during Busy Bee time for 10 minutes. During this time his play was limited to continuously pouring water down some guttering.
Creating and thinking critically
Throughout the Year, with some adult prompting, Child AC has shown the ability to be able to plan what he wants to do; find the
resources he needs; complete a task successfully; and talk simply about what he has done. Child AC will voluntarily ask to mark
make, paint, role-play and draw on very few occasions. However he will always attempt a creative task when requested by an
adult and is eager to please.
