2012 Primary Investigator for a $20,000 award from Division 29, the Norine Johnson
Grant, to study therapist factors that influence psychotherapy treatment.
2011 Primary Investigator for a $23,000 award through the George Washington University’s
Facilitating Fund (UFF) to study client diversity and how that influences psychotherapy
Attrition and treatment outcome.
2010 Co-investigator on psychotherapy treatment outcome study awarded $15,000 by the
American Psychoanalytic Association.
2009 Co-investigator and mentor to two students awarded a $5,000 research grant, the Samuels
Fellowship, to study predictors of transfer success in our community mental health Clinic.
2006 Primary Investigator for the Samuels Fellowship, a $15,000 research grant toward
