18 th October show at 11am!!!!!!

Drayton Manor Performance and Day out - The dance school has been asked to
perform two dances and a finale routine at Drayton Manor Theme Park. This opportunity is only open to 15
dancers. Please read the details below to see if you would be interested in this opportunity.
Date of show: Sunday 18th October 2015. Performance at 11am, then you spend the day in the park
Rehearsals: Sat 12th, 19th, 26th September and Saturday 3rd, 10th, 17th October @TGBS 3:45-4:30pm. There is only six rehearsals so
please do not participate in this event if you cannot commit to all the rehearsals. Be prepared to have to pick up the choreography
quickly as the show is next month
Costings and tickets
£0 costume fund – dancers will wear costumes from the dance school stock
£0 licence fee - as it is not classed as a theatre/performance space
£3.40 rehearsal fee – x6 rehearsals
All performer and spectator tickets can be purchased via www.chance2.dance
Please note that performers do not need to register for a Drayton Manor event in the same way that they do for a theatre event; they just
need to purchase their performer ticket.
All tickets for a family can be purchased at the same time by inputting the number of tickets required in the relevant boxes and making
one payment on behalf of all of them. For any performer tickets being purchased a form will appear, which needs to be completed as
fully as possible.
In order to get the necessary licence exemptions in place, ALL PERFORMERS MUST BOOK THEIR TICKETS FOR DRAYTON
MANOR NO LATER THAN 8 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
Spectators can book their tickets at any time but please note there are only 300 spectator tickets available for each event and these will
strictly be sold on a first-come first-served basis.

Dancers need to purchase a PERFORMER ticket. You can choose a
standard ticket that includes access to Drayton Manor after or a no
park ticket which means they can only do the performance
Audience members need to purchase a SPECTATOR ticket. Again
you can choose a standard ticket that allows you entry to the park or
you can choose to just watch the show.
Free parking is available at the Drayton Manor Hotel
for all performers and spectators.

Yes I am interested in participating, what do I do next?
If you would like to participate please text me after 5:00pm on Saturday, the first 15 dancers to text me will receive a place. (Do not text
before the above stated time) If by Monday I do not have enough dancers I will open it out to other selected younger dancers
Once I have text you to confirm your place you will need to purchase your performer ticket ASAP from www.chance2dance. When
booking any tickets please book them for the 18th October show at 11am!!!!!!
Transport: I was hoping to not have to book a minibus and that between myself, chaperones and parents we can transport the dancers.
Please let me know if:
A) You are happy to drive some dancers there and you are stopping at the park to bring them home
OR
B) You are not attending the performance or stopping at the park and your child will need a lift there and or back
Once I have this information I can sort out car sharing, etc
Overview of options for dancers
A) They perform then go home
B) They perform then go round the park with family members
C) They perform then go round the park with the other dancers, I will be available at a meeting point if they need me. If dancers are
choosing this option please ensure you have arranged a lift home (see transport section)

12:45pm – 1:00pm Parents are to collect dancers from the designated collection points. A member of the
CHANCE2DANCE team will walk with your school to the theme park entrance (a few minutes walk).
