This software is a web-based program that first teaches a concept, builds upon it, drills
it, and then tests for comprehension. After the student has mastered the concept it adds
more and repeats the process. During the lesson the software directs students to games that
practice what is being taught. The format of the software is all online so all progress is saved
recorded and stored off the computer. This allows for the application to be accessed at home,
school or anywhere an internet capable computer may be. The software has many different
help icons and tutorials to help the students understand what they are learning and help when
they struggle.

(How I would teach it)
Adding and subtracting positive negative integers can be taught in many different ways.
Most of the sites that I have included use the number line. This site shows how to teach by
using grouping or Positive and negative counters. Some students may not fully understand the
number line so it is a good idea to give multiple different perspectives to ensure full
comprehension.

This project calls for students to help their parents shop for groceries. This will add a
real life example to integers. The project will need a little tweaking to include negatives but
this can be found in the money used to purchase the items.
