ASSA – DIISR International Science Linkages Program Joint-Action Research Collaboration Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research Call for Applications The Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia (ASSA), with support through the International Science Linkage Program— Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Academies Program, social science component, is developing new Joint-Action Bilateral Research Collaborations that will support collaborative research projects by social scientists from Australia and selected partner nations. ASSA Joint-Action Funding Programs aim to provide seed funding to teams of collaborating international researchers, including Early-Career Researchers (ECRs), to encourage projects fundable for one year or less. ASSA’s ambition is to provide a funding niche that will support innovative new contributions to international collaborations. Multidisciplinary research or collaborations crossing sectoral boundaries, but including a social scientist are equally welcome.
