11th Annual Boxers Bras & Beerfest Tournament October 2nd and 3rd, 2015 Eligibility 1. All currently registered ASA (or other sanctioned Association) players in divisions from Premier and lower from the current 2014 season are eligible to play. 2. Players may only play for one team in the tournament. 3. Rosters may not exceed 25 players. A maximum of 20 players only on the game sheet and dressed for each game. A minimum of 4 players (2 men, 2 women) are required to start a game, less than this will result in a forfeiture of that game. 4. Rosters are due in advance no later than Thursday September 25th, 2014 via email to [email protected] Format 1. Each team was randomly selected to play an opponent in their first game. The results from a team’s first two games will determine which championship that team will play for: a. If a team wins their first two games, they will compete for the Championship A – Bikini b. If a team wins their first game but loses their second game, they will compete for the Championship B – Drawers c. If a team loses their first game but wins their second game, they will compete for the Championship C – Lingerie d. If a team loses both their first two games, they will compete for the Championship B – Undies Game Results/Point System 1. All games will be two 25 minute halves. 2. A maximum of a five (5) goal spread will be recorded. (If a team wins by 8-1 the score will be 6-1) 3. If final game is tied at the end of regulation time the winner will be determined by a “Coed style” penalty shoot out. 4. Coed Style Penalty Shootout: - Best of 5 shooters. If still tied, continue in a best of 1 shooters format until a winner is decided. - Kickers must be wearing boxers or bras (or both) over their uniforms. - Teams must alternate males and females, starting with a female. Fair play Point System 1. Referee will rate the Fair Play for each team out of 10. It will be based on the opinion of the sportsmanship of the teams. 2. The Tournament Committee will automatically deduct Fair Play Points for the following infractions; a. Blue card = 0 Point b. Yellow card = 1 Points c. Red Card for Second Caution or Denying Goal Scoring Opportunity = 2 Points d. Red Card for any other Red Card Offense = 6 Points Game Sheets 1. Game sheets wills be provided to each team prior to the start of the tournament inside team packages. 2. The roster must be sent to the Coed office by completing the roster form, via fax or email no later than Wednesday September 30th, 2015. 3. Player cards are required. A piece of pictured government ID will also be accepted as a player card. 4. Any player that does not have a player card MUST purchase Player Insurance. They may use a driver’s license, passport or any other government issued pictured ID. Uniforms 1. Players must wear matching numbered jerseys. a. The tournament is subject to Calgary Indoor Co-Ed Rec Soccer uniform rules 2. Boxers and Bras may be worn above team uniform, in fact it is encouraged! 3. Home team will supply two game balls. 4. Home team will be responsible for changing to alternate/bibs should they conflict with away team. Referee will determine color conflict. 5. Shin guards must be worn. Braces are at the discretion of the referee. 6. No hard casts permitted. 7. No jewelry permitted. Rules Specific to COED: 1. Must have 2 girls & 2 guys on the field at all times (penalized player in the box counts, female goalie does not). 2. No stop time. 3. Slide tackling (clean or otherwise) is NOT permitted and is cautionable with a YELLOW card – no exceptions! 4. COED has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards OIAL (offensive, insulting and abusive language) towards officials, players or opponents within this tournament. Any game ejections as a result of this offense will be referred to the appropriate league discipline. 5. There is NO STOP TIME! 6. All other rules of indoor soccer apply. Prizes & Awards 1. Each Division will have a prize awarded for overall winner based on total points. 2. Highest Fair play scores will be awarded prizes from each Division. 3. Boxers and Bras Spirit award will be given to the team who displays the most “FUN” as determined by the tournament coordinators.
