START OF PLAY

PENALTY AREA

There are no restrictions on the number of players allowed in the semi-circle, but the

The back-pass rule applies as normal. A penalty will be awarded if the goalkeeper

BALL IN AND OUT OF PLAY

Goalkeepers are not allowed to kick from the hand or drop kick. They can throw or
roll then kick. Kicking from hand will result in an indirect free kick on the edge of the
area close to the infringement.

All free-kicks, with the exception of the previous rule for goalkeepers kicking from
hand, are direct and the opposition must be at least three metres away from the ball.
